*New Job Alert* Financial Assistant – Temp Role At Lynn Recruitment we have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Assistant to join an established client. This role will involve close work with various departments whilst keeping within company policy. Responsibilities: • Preparing and processing payments, ensuring prompt payment of invoices. This includes dealing with any month-end reconciliation and the investigation of any discrepancies. • Provide ongoing training in operating in house systems, supporting any users. • Maintain and develop all database and spreadsheets, ensuring that all details are up-to-date. • Be able to collect and request any source material required for annual estimates, requests, grant claims etc. • Be able to collect payment from customers and ensure correct receipting procedures. • You will also ensure all Health & Safety legislation is published and complied in relation to the services and activities within the faculty. Qualifications: • 5 GCSE passes at Grade A-C including Mathematics or equivalent Or: • 2 GCSE passes at Grade A-C or equivalent • At least 2 years’ experience in a computerised accounting environment. • At least 2 years’ experience in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. (Proof must be provided) This role is varied and offers the opportunity to expand your experience, you will be given responsibility and the chance to progress yourself.
