(( Nightmare Before Christmas as a Thanksgiving movie = This is actually a great point. And from a thematic perspective, the film is neither about family / miracles nor really attempting to build a scare (it begins with and centers around spookiness: the eerie is not a plot device). Really, isnt the film about being realizing youve taken things for granted, and being thankful for what you have? ))
