Furthermore, the extensive siping (grooves) on the sole makes them greatly flexible. The combo of softish sole and great flexibility makes the shoes feel almost like slippers. When you can combine fashion, comfort, and effective marketing you wind up with a best-selling shoe. Love it or not, Nike does that better than any other brand.
