* Non MMA Related * Hey gang, Pat here. As with most Sundays following an event, news is slow. In turn, I figure this will be a good time to bring attention to the following.... those of you who fancy yourselves gamers will enjoy ;) Games Done Quicks bi-annual video game speedrunning event, Awesome Games Done Quick, has started and will go 24/7 for a week (Ending the 11th). This charity event raises money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whom advocates and supports the prevention and early detection of cancer through Research, Education, Advocacy and Community Outreach. Last years event raised a bit over $1,000,000 total. Just 45 minutes into this event (roughly), over $25,000 has already been raised. Be sure to check the link below to see video games of all kinds and from all eras get absolutely destroyed by highly skilled players and donate to a great cause if you are capable. They offer raffles and prizes during each game for those who donate, so definitely check it out. As I type this, the announcer informs viewers that an anonymous person just donated $10,000. Amazing.
