#NorthernGoldCoastCrimeWatch Immediate Post Notification Unlawful wounding – Currumbin Valley Police have charged a man following the unlawful wounding of an 83-year-old man at a house at Currumbin Valley late yesterday afternoon. It is alleged around 5.30pm the elderly man was struck to his head area with a knife by a man who also resides at the house. The elderly man received a number of lacerations to his head, hands and arms and was transported to hospital for treatment to his non-life threatening injuries. A 30-year-old man from Currumbin Valley has been charged with serious assault and unlawful wounding. He is due to face Southport Magistrates Court today, September 12, 2014.
