*Not your average Obligatory New Year, New Me Status* I would set life changing goals for myself for the upcoming year, but nah...... I am satisfied with my life. 😄 My goal is to continue being myself. 😘 My goals are: to maintain my love and appreciation for the free blessings in life (my family and friends), maintain strength in disheartening situations, maintain my love and respect for people (regardless of their attitudes/opinions toward/about me), maintain the ability to see the positives in the seemingly negative situations, continue to see the beauty (inner and outer) in everyone, continue to build up everyone around me, continue to help the people I can, and try harder to help the people that truly need it... To some people, that may sound conceited....... 😏 But it is not. 👌 I am not, by any means, calling myself perfect. I do, however, take pride in my personality. I have always had the hardest time accepting compliments and agreeing with others that tell me I am a great partner/friend/sister/daughter/granddaughter/mother/(insert any other complimentary labels here) because I have always been the first to notice ANY fault in myself or acknowledge any mistake I have made. 😒 Sometimes, I am literally the ONLY person to/that acknowledge(s) any fault(s)/mistake(s) of mine. 😔 No, this isnt a boo hoo status either. 😜 I do not feel sorry for myself. Lol. Like I said... I am proud that I can now acknowledge, with great confidence, that I am not as awful as some people say or try to make me out to be. If I was in fact as terrible as some people try to make me out to be, I wouldnt be surrounded by such amazing friends and family... ❤ I have been through a lot this past year, and I dont regret a thing. I learned from every hardship and mistake. I grew as an individual. My relationship has been tested, time and time again... 😌 And, here we are, stronger and more in love than ever. 😍 Heres to a new year and new discoveries in self worth and self appreciation. ❤ Heres to another great year with my boys and our new addition. 💖
