#NotAFact On Childrens Day, here are some quick and easy recipes to indulge your naughty, little lovable angels. They can be the cutest angels when you give them what they want, and can suddenly transform into devils if you dont take care of them. But theyre undeniably cute, and just one smile is enough to melt even the hardest of hearts. Were talking about children, of course. You may not need a special day to be thankful for having them in your life, but kids are meant to be pampered and what better day to do than Childrens Day? Here are a few recipes from Madhavi Kapadia, a chocolate lava cake and a tasty recipe of spaghetti napolitana. And chicken wings by Komal Singh that will be a sure hit with kids. Slurpppp, so yummy. My mouths watering. So, here we go... With vegetables momos too.... 1. CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE :- Ingredients: 1 tablespoon plain flour (maida) 1 tablespoon powdered sugar 1 and a half tablespoon cocoa powder 4 tablespoon milk a pinch of baking soda a pinch of baking powder 2 tsp melted butter A chunk of cooking chocolate Method: Combine the flour, sugar, and cocoa powder and sieve well. Add salt, baking powder, and baking soda, and mix well. Add butter and mix well. And milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, and mix well to get a smooth batter. Pour half of it into a microwave safe bowl and push the chunk of chocolate right into the centre of the batter. Top it with the remaining batter, taking care that the chocolate doesnt protrude out of the batter. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Keep aside for a minute, unmould and serve plain or along with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, fresh cream or strawberries. Whatever you feel like. 2. TANGY CHICKEN WINGS :- Ingredients: 12 chicken wings 1 tablespoon butter 2 cloves garlic Half tablespoon salt Half tablespoon pepper (optional) 2 tablespoon tomato sauce 2 tablespoon soy sauce 2 stalks spring onion (cut in one and a half inch pieces) 1 bunch coriander leaves (finely chopped) 1 tablespoon chilli flakes Method: And butter to a heavy bottom pan and when its hot put in the chicken wings. Fry until golden brown. When the wings are tender and cooked, toss in the rest of the ingredients, EXCEPT the coriander leaves, spring onion and chilli flakes. Add the last three ingredients, just before serving. You can use the same recipe to spice up leftover French fries. 3. SPAGHETTI NAPOLITANA Ingredients: 1 and a half cups cooked spaghetti 2 onions 1 kg tomatoes 3 tablespoon sugar Half tsp chilli powder 4 tablespoon tomato ketchup 2 tablespoon butter 100 gram fresh cream 100 gram grated cooking cheese Salt to taste Method: Finely chop the onions and set aside. Later, chop the tomatoes into big pieces, and 1 cup of water and cook the tomatoes. After it is cooked, blend it in a liquidiser and strain. Heat the butter in a vessel, and fry the onions for 2 minutes. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, chilli powder, salt, and boil for 10 minutes. Add the tomato ketchup, spaghetti, cream, and boil for 2 minutes. Grease a baking dish, put the tomato and spaghetti mixture in it. Grate the cheese over the spaghetti. Dot with butter. Bake in a hot oven at 200 degree Celsius for 25 minutes. Serve hot. 4. VEGETABLES MOMOS Ingredients: 100 gram flour 20 ml water 50 gram cabbage 10 gram carrot 10 gram onion 120 gram beancurd 10 gram spring onion 3 gram garlic 2 gram ginger 30 gram chilli dry kashmiri 50 gram tomato 5 gram garlic 5 gram salt Method: Knead the dough. Make into small balls. Make the filling by mixing cabbage, carrot, onion beancurd, spring onion, garlic and salt. Roll the dough and stuff the vegetables and make desired shapes. Steam for seven minutes and serve. For sauce, boil kashmiri chilli and tomato. Mix with garlic, salt and blend. We hope that we made your Childrens Day special with these recipes.
