“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance - TopicsExpress

“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” ― Martin Luther King Jr. “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts.” ― Daniel Patrick Moynihan. How is it that the same people who reject mountains of peer reviewed science, are allowed to make unsupported accusation that its inherently fraudulent, and then in the same breath cite a poorly sourced, pseudoscientific, unrelated, or problematic study to unequivocally support their position? I dont understand how that works. Anti-science rhetoric is the greatest threat to our continued survival of our species. We need MORE science literacy and education. Not less.
