† Novel : The pebbles of the cherry blossom were gushing along the wind, falling like rain, sticking to every surface it could touch. A tint of red was colored on most of the pebbles making people looked up for the spectacle view in wonder. They only see the police tape line and the mass hurdle of people gushing in and out. It was a crime scene. “Detective Martini, you are required in.” The detective nodded taking out his note pad before walking up close to the Medical Examiner as he frowned deeply at the site of the remained. “I could never get use to bodies after such long years in work force.” He commented lightly only to get the Medical Examiner’s action paused as the dull tone being slipped out. “You should consider a job change then.” The topic was dropped from there. The body been placed under the single tree of the cherry blossom, skull fractured before reassembled once more into a full skull, teeth were missing. The body was only a skeleton as strung by a thin wire drilled in the center core of the bone, as if a puppet doll, there were no sign of any blood or flesh on the bone. Too clean, too professional. It was nothing Detective Martini had seen over the years in his line of work. “Same M.O.?” Detective Martini furiously wrote down a few things in his notepad as the Medical Examiner got up from a kneeling position peeling off his latex gloves. “Sadly yes, there wouldn’t be any trace of blood among the bone core or any flesh on the bones, as the killer had cleaned it with beetles, soaked the bones in bleach than cleaned the bone marrow to ensure any identification. Not to say the skull itself was puzzled with different other skulls to piece back together and teeth pluck off to further identification. This killer is sophisticated.” Note : some more scraps, but I think I nail down how the bodies will be presented, like the idea?
