O Duniya Ke Rakhwale This one is a classic, though weepy and sad song by Mohammad Rafi from the film Baiju Bawara (1951). A film that firmly put Rafi as the front runner in a field of playback singers that included Talat Mehmood, Manna Dey, Mukesh and Kishore Kumar. One of Naushads best creations, Baiju Bawara had great music. Have posted ten songs from the film already- The immortal bhajan by Rafi- Man Tarapat Hari Darshan, two wonderful Lata- Rafi duets: Tu Ganga Ki Mauj Main Jamuna Ka Dhara, Jhoole Mein Pawan Ke and the Lata solo, Mohe Bhool Gaye Sawaria, two wonderful songs, less well known than the ones mentioned above, but indeed very good- Rafi- Insaan Bano Kar Lo Bhalai Ka Koi Kaam and Latas Bachapan Ki Mhabbat Ko. And the Shamshad begum, Rafi and Lata song Door Koi Gaye, the wonderful songs by Amir Khan posted in a single post on the blog: - Tori Jay Jay Kartar, composition based on raag Darbari, Ghanan Ghanan Ghan Garjo Re (the song was deleted form the movie), the duet with D V Paluskar: Aaj Gawat Man Mero Jhoom Ke. The lyrics are by Shakeel Badayuni. melodiesinmymemory.blogspot.in/2014/04/o-duniya-ke-rakhwale.html
