Im @Starbucks on Erie & St.Clair, across from Northwestern Hosp. where I was earlier for a check-up, pretty much just using their wi-fi & electricity, right?… The stuff Im hearing: I asked for light-ice. Can you take some of the ice out? Oh THIS one is my drink! Are you sure this is triple? Is this my double latte non-fat whipped vente mocha expresso? I ordered a BACON egg/cheese sandwich on whole wheat … Is THIS my bacon eggs sandwich thats been sitting here on the counter (a total of 90sec… :/ ) Is THIS a small? -barista: Oh, its a grande. Oh THATS okay! (-walks away, just got a freebie and DIDNT say thank you…..) I ordered a grande no-whipped carmel Flint rubble-bubble upside-down NON latte supreme WITH whipped cream, NOT without!………. (okay, I made that one up, but you get it) ******************************************************* Im am intermittently chucking aloud (hand-over-mouth) cause Im imagining coffee dripping from the ceiling; angry patrons cell-dialing Starbucks in Seattle (headquarters); whipped carmel in someones quaff; … a green apron WRAPPED around some poor persons throat, for giving me a dirty glare ;) ….. [….. yes, Id need aLITTLEmoJesus! -Mary, Mary] You know what folks?…… I could NOT work HERE!!!! :D (and Im a NICE person….)
