...ON EBOLA VICTIMS I cant begin to imagine how it feels to see your death coming and gradually,layer by layer,your skin is ripped off and your internal organs charred beyond recognition. I cant begin to imagine how it feels to be quarantined,isolated and taken away from the family youve nursed and nutured all your life.From the one year old who still needs her Mama and from the bride whose bed is yet to be doused with the heat of passion. Its a feeling beyond imagination,deeper and saddening than anything at all.But why condemn the family youve been working for all your life alongside you?One bad apple is enough.True love will run as far as it can from family,friends and even enemies. It is my earnest prayer that this scourge ends ASAP but we must also prepare for the worst.You dont hide at home from health authorities,you dont sneak out from quarantine,you dont neglect instructions not to travel and you dont run back to your maternal home.You isolate yourself and join to pray for an end to this scourge. If I had this disease,my loving mum would not deny her dying sweet boy a last hug,shed cling to me and never let go.Itll now be my duty to run as far as I can from her and every other person. Because I want her to live on and carry her grandchildren.I want my sister to have the largest bridal train and a set of identical twins.I want my kid bro to graduate and set up his own firm and more than anything else,I want to redeem myself and find peace with my creator and how can I do this by purposely dragging other lives down alongside?I would live in eternal condemnation and guilt. The smell of death can totally turn a mans senses.If not,tell me why a grown family man will go cuddle up with his family when hes got Ebola or run back to his village?Why? Each and everyone of us has a role to play if we are to curb this plague.A seed of love,sacrifice and prayer must be sown and watered to grow..HAPPY TUESDAY!
