.......... ON THE SPONSORS OF BOKO HARAM The way this Boko Haram insurgency is advancing and waxing stronger by the day,capturing,destroying and ransacking more villages and towns along its path, killing maiming and displacing helpless citizens is an issue of great concern and a serious threat to our cooperate existence as a state. If you ask me,this issue has been poorly handled from the onset by the authorities concern. I just dont know how many deaths will it take till they know that too many people have died. The solution to this lingering problem seem elusive but to me,its a very simple one. Engaging those dare-devils on the battle field is not the best approach to this menance. I keep telling those that care to listen that the real enemies of this country are the sponsors of this insurgency;going to the roots,digging out and unmasking the sponsors of this evil is the Best approach..... Cutting down a tree at the trunk and leaving its roots deep inside the soil,untouched is pointless.....in Agriculture Science there is something called REGENERATION.... Identify their sponsors,cut off their supply lines,and when they run short of supply,their struggle will die a natural death. Nobody can convince me that our Government does not know who the sponsors are. I strongly believe that they know all those involved. The Government have a way of knowing things. In the USA,the Government have on their finger tips any information they so wish ,thanks to the FBI and the CIA. In Nigeria,we have the Department of State Services(DSS) which is also known as State Security Service (SSS) , we also have The Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) which is under Defence Intelligence Agency(DIA) ,We also have the National Intelligence Agency(NIA),beside these,we have the Police,Customs,Immigration etc. If these various intelligence agencies,despite the mamoth security votes allocated to them could not unravel the Boko Haram mystery up to now,am afraid we are doomed but I very much believe they have done their jobs and have submitted their findings to the appropriate quarters but a conspiracy of silence is prevailing at the moment while lives are lost daily. Maybe somebody somewhere is comfortable playing politics with innocent lives. #SAD A couple of months back,the woman with the unbridled tongue who is suppose to be a non partisan civil servant but always jump at every oppurtunity to sing praises in defence of this present day PDP led Government;( In every family,there is a weird member) Ms Marilyn Ogar,spokesperson of the State Security Service is to the SSS what Mbu is to the Nigerian Police....disgraceful and embarrasing This woman told the world that the SSS has overwhelming evidences linking Former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff of Borno State as one of the sponsors of Boko Haram. We were made to believe that Ali Sherif is under their microscope and that they were scrutinizing him with the seriousness of a scientist looking for a germ. At that time,Ali Modu Sheriff was in the APC. Fast forward events to a few months from that time,Ali sherif has decamped to PDP nobody talks about the B.H sponsorship issue any longer.Like many before it,it has been swept under the carpet thereby highlighting the weakness in our justice system. Recently there has been several calls from various quarters to bring Ali Sheriff in for questioning but I will tell you what,nothing is going to come out of this because Sheriff is now in PDP. In Nigeria today,this is the new trend. If you are a theif and very corrupt, all. You need to escape justice is to defect to PDP and hide under her accursed umbrella that has not sheltered the country from the fingers of those holding the umbrella and after you defect,call a press conference and mumble jumble something about keying into the Transformation Agenda of the President. When you do that,you will be sure of not being prosecuted,then you will fully board the Fresh Air train that has polluted the health of the nation. Former Governor Ali Sheriff seem to very well understand this concept and he has applied it well. Today he is hobnobing around the world with the presiden,dinning wining and having good time together. I wont be suprise if a ministerial appointment is already in the offing for him. This country is SICK! We hang petty thieves and appoint greater ones into positions of authority. It is in our justice system that a man who stole a chicken worth #1500 is sent to prison for 2 years with a heavy fine while another man who stole millions of naira of pension fund is fined lightly and asked to go home and enjoy his loot. This is really sad. Until such a time when our justice system can clamp down on any wrong doer without minding whose ox is gored,Nigeria will continue to be the huge joke she is. Now,back to President GEJ and Ali Sheriff in Chad. Whatever they went to do there,we leave them with God. A passage from the Glorious Quran readily come to mind and I quote (.... (Isaiah 33:1)] Boko Haram sponsors,the blood of your innocent victims has been crying to God from the ground,now it has reached up to heaven,its a matter of time before he visits you with his divine judgement.
