“OPEN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT” and “OPEN LAWN TENNIS TOURNAMENT.” Will all humility and condor the Municipality of Claver has been in forefront of development and progress in the Province of Surigao del Norte. For not too distant past, it has done many sports activities if only to show the cooperative relationship between the Local Officials and their constituents. It is in this direction that the Municipality will once again celebrate its annual town Fiesta on September 8 – 9, 2013 and Araw ng Claver on September 13, 2013. One of the highlights of this celebration is the “Fiesta Sports Festival” and among of the activities are the “OPEN BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT” and “OPEN LAWN TENNIS TOURNAMENT.” This activity would be considered in recognition of our joint undertaking relative to the sports and physical fitness program of the National Government and to promote, develop the spirit of sportsmanship camaraderie and to achieve greater heights in sports. In line with this event I would like to invite interested firm or individual to participate and take part in celebrating our 102nd annual town fiesta in honor of our Patron Saint “St. Peter Claver.” Here are the details of the tournament 1. Open Basketball Tournament Champion : P200,000.00 + Trophy Runner – up: P150,000.00 + Trophy Third Place: P100,000.00 + Trophy Special Awards MVP (Most Valuable Player) P15,000.00 Trophy Mythical Five P25,000.00 + Trophy Slam-dunk Champion P10,000.00 + Trophy 2.
