#OPINION: TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT: KENYANS ARE TRIBAL!!! By C Amkich Karanja We Kenyans are interesting. It is wrong for Kalonzo to sound tribal but I dare ask if that doesnt reflect who we are as Kenyans!! And its been all over social media. Kalonzo this and Kalonzo that!!! Thats mere pretense! Thats Kenyan. We like to put on the holier than thou attitude yet deep inside our hearts we carry in our bone marrow, the curse of tribalism. Thats why everybody whom I introduced myself to in college would pose to ask why I spoke Kalenjin and had a Kikuyu name! Some have the audacity to advice me to drop the bad for fear of future problems. So when I read #KOT reactions and all those on social media, I mourn the death of sincerity amongst Kenyans. Its like we have perfected the art of seeing the speck in the eye of our brothers rather than removing ours first. We are sick of the same disease yet we bay for Kalonzos blood when he refuses to answer one Mureithi. Come on, lets face it, we all are tribal. Throw the first stone if you think you are blameless!!! Meanwhile, I thank Kalonzo for bringing out the real we!
