...One Thats Lose.... June 30, 2014 Todays Prayer Dear Jesus the mediator to the Father in Heaven, You own even the cattle on a thousand hills. You made everything...Oh Mighty Creator...and all is Yours. You have provided abundantly for Your creation. Im sorry that we have not taken care of so many of the resources You have given us. Im sorry for our complacency. I am thankful for Your perfect plan and creation. I am thankful for Your provisions and Your ever presence. Please grant wisdom and knowledge that I will be the biblical and wise steward that You want me to be. Thank You for taking care of me and my family. Thank You for Your blessings upon us. Thank You for Your protection and Your presence within the body of Christ. I love You. Within this day Jesus, lead...guide...direct and strengthen me that I will make and be the change NOW! Thank You for the lessons I have learned. Most of all, thank You for being there with me through it all and for carrying me all the way. Lord Jesus and my heavenly Father, thank You for my help meet...Genesis 2:18, my lover and friend-my wife...Thank You for her strength and abilities given by You. Continue to be her support and guide in a time such as these...Allow us to continue the growth in You that You have begun over 40 years ago in this union...Let not anything even attempt to destroy or come between us in any shape, form nor fashion...help us to remember too, Gods Demand For Obedience and Acceptance of His call... Thank You for hearing my prayer and for working in all of our lives. In Jesus name I pray and praise You. Amen June 30, 2014 Todays Devotional Good Morning All, Seekers of God, Aint Lost... Psalm 53: 1-3 (topic using these verses 1-3 KJV) 53 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. 2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. 3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Are you a man or woman who is a seeker of God? The Lord delights in seeing those children of His who truly understand the meaning of life and why there is only one thing worth seeking God Himself. One, that we gain truth, knowledge and understanding of Him. With this said, I have learned this day that the selected book and chapter of Psalm 53, is the shortest chapter of the books within the Bible I have studied. I can always tell when I have not been seeking God. The cares of this life, the urgent over the important, and the petty irritations; these are the symptoms of a life that has not been in the presence of God. Do we understand, really understand? That is the question God raises to each of us today. If we understand, then why do we spend day after day toiling and fretting over what doesnt matter? Can we set proper boundaries in our lives that dont allow our time with Him to be continually stolen away? It is a challenge in a world that screams activity, activity! Do you have a consistent time of seeking Him in your life? Are you committed to developing that intimacy with your Lord that He so desires? If not, ask Him today to help you. This is the longing of His heart. Ask Him to make it the longing of your heart. Then you will demonstrate to Him that you understand, and you will be a seeker of God. Too, keep in mind, Hes not the one thats lose. Be Blessed...Stand for truth as God has said it...
