~One of a Kind~ I wrote this for anyone who’ve been told they’re broken Or felt pain from words that any others have spoken It is wrong to be told or feel that you don’t belong So always remember to try and stay strong We’re you ever put down for the style of your hair Or may be for the shoes that you had to wear Did the other children never want you to play Because they said you didn’t think their way Did you grow up feeling angry with an attitude Like at any given moment you might come unglued How many times did you really try and hold back Before you knocked them out for their verbal attack Remember when society becomes damned and cold That you couldn’t be forced into the normality mold So be proud of this person that you have became Your one of a kind and no one else is the same ~The Journey Poetry Series by James Lagoski~
