***Only 2 Days Left** Helicopters Will Deliver Toys To Children’s Hospital In Birmingham The Tuscaloosa Police Department is participating with multiple other law enforcement agencies around the state in the third annual “Operation Toy Drop” on December 5th 2014. On the morning of December 5th, TPD’s Helicopter will fly to Birmingham with toys that are collected at the Police Department and meet up with other helicopters. That afternoon all helicopters will fly to Children’s Hospital and land every two minutes to deliver the toys to Santa who will unload them. The children will be watching from their windows as this impressive event unfolds. A donation box will be set up in the lobby of the Tuscaloosa Police Department until December 4th. Please come by and drop off a new toy, coloring books, or anything else you feel would make a child feel special this holiday season.
