(Open) Nightfall. A time when the world descends into silence and eases into a stillness very little could disturb. The sound of cicadas and crickets in the grasses playing their nocturnal tunes accompanied by the soft coo of birds settling in from their daily toils. Shinobi entering and leaving the village slowing, the civilians having gone to their beds to rest. Few ANBU littered the streets of Konoha visibly while most remained wholly hidden. The only activity steady in the village was within Konoha hospital from the nurses making their rounds. Eyes of pure jade slowly opened in a darkened room within the hospital. Head turning slowly towards the door as the soft click gave proof the night nurse had left. A soft groan came from pale lips as the figure that lay upon the single bed in the room slowly sat up. Hissing lightly, the right hand crossing over the body to grip the ribs on the left side. A deep intake of breath followed as the blankets were pulled away, a pair of legs sliding from the bed to lay feet on the cold floor. Pushing to her feet cautiously, blonde hair spilling forth over her shoulders as the female took a tentative step forward. Escape. That was all that mattered to her. She had been forced to remain in the bed for three days to recuperate from her injuries. It was more than enough and though she was not fully healed, Rinei was dead-set on finishing her duties as a kunoichi of Konoha. Steadily taking steps towards the window in the room, she pushed it wide open upon reaching it. Going out through the door would have been simpler but in that way, it would be easier for her to be caught by the giant of a man who seemed hard-pressed to keep her confined. Growling a bit at the thought of the large male, Rinei hoisted her body up to the window-sill. Without a moments hesitation, she leaped from her room to land softly on the ground below. Her legs unable to sustain her weight for long, she rolled over and once again came to her feet, crouching low. A quick look around and a brief glance back at the windown from whence she came, the blonde female pushed off once more, hurrying away as fast as she could before she was made to return. Finishing her mission was her top priority. Shun paralyzing her and knocking her unconscious coupled with the large males insistence that she stay put delayed her from giving her report. It was imperative that she report all that she knew from the mission to the Hokage. As head ANBU and a kunoichi of Konoha, it was her duty to perform and was expected to fulfill. Unless something came up that was imperative to her helping, she would do whatever she could to complete her mission.
