#Optimism TRUMPET CALL 2014-10-05 “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.” ~ AMOS 9:13 THE PLOWMEN AND THE REAPERS In any society, there has always been that inherent cosmic design that has evolved with us from the very beginning. The body of Christ also has been euphemistically described as a body composed of various divergent parts functioning in unity. The Triune God has different functions too. The five-fold ministry are different but by design, one; they must see themselves as one. There are plowmen who plough and sow the seeds, there are reapers, Jesus said, they all come to their reward {John 4:35-38}. Recently, God caught us grumbling that we can’t see anything happening and that there seem not to be any testimony. Then He spoke whilst we were in prayer; first, God reminded us that we have been preaching in the streets of London, a civilized nation with megaphone, loudly to hundreds of thousands per week since 2008, at rush hour, at train stations, at weekends at different spots, under the watchful eyes of the police without anyone disturbing us or challenging us. This is recorded and nothing and no one can touch this. We did not know people share messages on Facebook until late 2011. God had showed us what He intends to do; He showed us schools of fishes, looking up straight into our eyes by a river bank, as if to say “where would we go?” Hence, we are to prepare people for the harvest. God does not intend to bring in a harvest for His flock to further require to be rebuilt. Therefore, the message of reformation which we ran away from (of which some almost lost their lives) had to be preached. Now, God has reassured us, the work is done. But are people ready for the harvest? Those who preached that change is coming, have they agreed with God on the changes God has presented of which no one has any answer to? Does anyone think God will bring in a harvest when He has called for change and some want to continue the status quo? The plowman has done his work, he will overtake the reaper and will have his reward, but are we ready for the change so that the harvest can come? Ploughing is preparation for harvest, but there must be reapers and the house must be prepared to take in the harvest. There is time for everything. This call is to everyone. We have been careful not to make too much out of preaching in the streets with megaphone, that is our call; but we have been alerted that some think God has not noticed that those calling for change are playing lip service. This will be the best time to look into our consciences. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. May we never again miss the day of our visitation, Amen. God bless and have a good
