[Originally being an energy and climate change mitigation specialist I love the opening part of his speech. Some people may be chanting GoNawazGo outside the UN HQ but this speech by Pakistans PM is a very balanced and comprehensive one covering all major global challenges and those affecting Pakistan. He raised the issue of Kashmir and reminded the international community of the plebiscite in Kashmir. He condemned Israel and urged lifting the blockade on Gaza. He called for a peaceful solution in Syria. He condemned ISIS and called for a unified fight against it. He categorically rejected all forms of extremism and also highlighted the fact that Pakistan is fighting terrorists at home. He also highlighted the fact that Pakistan has the highest number of troops in the UN peace keeping forces. He also assured the world Pakistans nuclear programme is safe and secure. Now, I dont know who wrote his speech and whether he understood all of it. ;) :D But his accent has improved and he looked quite confident delivering it. And he received a huge applause when he finished. :) Go Nawaz Go!!! ;)]
