“Our Daily Bread” 2 Corinthians 12: 9 But he said to me, - TopicsExpress

“Our Daily Bread” 2 Corinthians 12: 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. We are living in the times/days of Grace, where the Lord says it’s okay my son put your house in order for I do not condemn you but desire you remain righteous. The times of Grace doesn’t mean we should continue in our simple ways (sinning), it simply means we can do better than yesterday (old testament – remember in old testament if you skip one of the Law you can be stoned to death or be excluded for a certain period of time). But in the Grace time If you miss a mark, you can still make things right with God today. The only catch is we must repent at a go because no one knows about the day/hour. The minute we identify the gap we must be quick to bridge that gap and the Lord says we can do all things through Him who strengthen us because His power is made perfect in our weaknesses. Children of God on our own we can’t do a thing, we need Christ’s power to rest on us so that we may remain more than conquerors to our weaknesses. Everyone has a weakness but by His Grace we are able to say weaknesses you are under our feet, sometimes it’s wiser to acknowledge our witnesses but not bowing to them. This is the problem we see in Christianity today people who ignore their weaknesses, a danger is you can never conquer them if you do not know them. That’s why Paul here is saying , it gives me pleasure to know about my weaknesses for I know Christ’s Power will nullify them for me. Are you aware that there are Christian who cannot forgive? Are you are aware that there are Christians who has pride, jealous, greed, gossips, lies, etc? These are weaknesses Paul is talking about, that needs to be nullified by the Power of Christ in us. You got it, since the day you got Born Again so no excuses. I pray today that the Lord gives us wisdom to identify our weaknesses for the Glory of the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen! Jesus Christ loves you!
