~Overdrive~ Take your so called invested educated mind And listen very closely as I make it all unwind Back to the beginning of your life and destiny By allowing you to look at your true identity See time is a farce you’ve been fooled to receive While things surrounding us are all make believe And most are so blind to the nature of our crimes They’ve become no more than puppets and mimes We stare in the mirrors that mortal man created Ignoring all but the image that’s left emulated We’ve followed governmental leaders to the edge So they quietly push the sheep over the ledge Beside priests who have stole many innocent souls From churches hiding them like underground moles Are the lies they supplied for these religious guides So both sides of good and evil now slowly divides There are judges who should be before the bench Within the system that helps them turn the wrench Twisting the truth and shredding all of the proof That’s stealing the future for all this worlds youth Now if you add the power we gave conglomerations Combined with the facts of scientific explanations They exhaled pollutants that changed the weather Mixing ingredients making the end come together See we viewed daily images of things to come But all our atrocities made society grow numb So when we pay for the day that will arrive Will we realize that we put it into overdrive Does this scare You a little?
