~Owl Girl~ Chapter 7: I get a little gift The other campers went away so I brought Zack into the tent he followed “So, I lived with my grandfather, oh my god he must be wondering where I am!” I said, worriedly “Oh god, Zack we have to explain to him! C’mon let’s go to my house no time to dress up!” I shook his arm, We ran to my cottage in pajamas My grandfather was shouting “LYDIA!!! LYDIA AMBER!!!” I went to him “Lydia it all makes sense to me now Lizzie told me, he gestured towards her. “Hello young hero!” she waved to me “HI! My name is actually Lydia!” I waved to her, “So, Grandfather, are sure about this camp? I’m staying there for year-round.” I asked him with serious eyes. ”Oh, Grandpa this is Zack, My, um, boyfriend!” I smiled “Lydia, can we talk in the room please?” he said, then he scuttled to my bedroom, he sat in to my lower bunk “I’m going to miss you, Lydia, but it’s for the best, you are offered a quest to save the camp from our enemies, Lizzie wouldn’t tell me what their enemies are, and I’m very happy for you and Zack.” He smiled “Good bye, Lydia.” He hugged me, I cried some tears out “I Love You.” I sniffed “I love you too.” He breathed deeply “I got you a gift you always wanted when you were four.” He brought out a puppy the size of my hand “Awww, a puppy! Thanks grandpa!” I hugged him. The puppy was Brown with caramel spots and Deep, gray, stormy eyes I carried him outside the room with dried tears on my cheeks, “I have just gotten a puppy from my grandfather.” I announced “and I also said goodbye, Thank you for your attention.” I took the kitty and grabbed Zack’s hand and pulled him to camp I went to the pond and pulled him to the swing “I know how you feel.” Zack said “You know you can visit him sometime, what do you plan to name the puppy?” the puppy was nuzzled in my skirt, playing with a leaf “I don’t…” my voice trailed off “Yes his name is Leo.” I smiled, I was resting my head on his shoulder. * * * He carried Leo and nuzzled his nose, I went to the tent and packed my things up Zack got up cradling sleepy Leo and helped me carry some stuff we walked to my cabin “Here,” He gave me Leo and nuzzled my nose. Grinning, I went inside my cabin and started to make Leo a bed. I made the bed on my dresser the bed was striped and had fluffy edges like a hat but with an open space in front. I put sleepy Leo inside and took a shower, when I was done I saw a mini chewy toy in the drawer. Leo was barking at it and trying to reach it by jumping, there was a tag tied to it that said: You forgot this, with –Grandpa at the bottom the chewy toy was small enough it was in the shape of a bone, threaded with green and blue. I put the chewy toy on Leo’s blanket and he started barking at it then he chewed it. Growling. There was a knock on the door but the chewy toy kept Leo busy….
