*** PA State Point Series Finale *** Sunday October 12, 2014 Prince Gallitzin State Park - Patton, PA 1st ever PDGA sanctioned event at this course!!! Big thanks going out to all the players that came and made this a memorable event... Thank you to the Krise family for all their effort into helping to put the newest aditions into the areas first and foremost 18 hole disc golf course, without your hard work and dedication this would not have been possible :) And we cant forget about all of the people that came out and helped clear paths and fairways and volunteered a lot of time helping to develop this amazing course!!! Special thanks to Chas Ford and Eric Keim for putting together an awesome tournament... A really big thanks to PA State Rep Chas Ford for all the time and effort both he and his wife put toward this years amazing year-long contest!!! The day started out very chilly around 8am but quickly became warmer as the first couple of holes were underway near 1030am. The course played to the tone of a long par 63 (which may end up being revamped next year) and the players were definitely feeling it... The first round saw local standout players Austin Krise (Open) putting up a whopping 1000 rated round of 60 and Sean Davie (Advanced) posting an awesome 992 rated round of 61...Amazing!!! The second round saw Sean Davie once again posting an amazing 984 rated round of another 61 and Open player Mason Frumkin shared the days best round of a 992 rated round of 60...Way To Go!!!
