***PEAK ALERT*** Frontier Airlines Changes Fare Structure; Adds Fees Denver-based Frontier Airlines will now only offer two fare types: non-refundable (Economy) and fully-refundable (Classic Plus). Travelers selecting the lower Economy fares will be subject to a variety of optional fees, including a charge to place carry-on bags in overhead bins or to obtain a preassigned seat. The new fare structure and fees apply to tickets purchased on or after April 28th, 2014. Tickets purchased prior to April 28th are not affected by this change.
