****PLEASE READ*** Its LONG, sorry.*** Hey friends! Check out these two pictures. Obviously, the one on the right is absolutely flawless. My version or imitation if you will is on the left. I still shudder at my flaws on it. As you can see, it is not exactly as Ms. Kerry Vincents is (my cake idol, by the way) as she has far more experience than I. That being said, I feel I must post this to all of my friends and clients. Apparently, there is a totally misconstrued and misunderstanding to my pegasus cake post. (I am not deleting the post as of yet as to not be accused of whatever else someone can come up with.) I am making a PUBLIC APOLOGY to let everyone involved; including the awesome bakery (as I have mentioned several times in said post) and the client that used them, and anyone else concerned know that any ill thought or will is totally and utterly false. I am honored that being the newbie that I am that one of our cakes would be copied. I am in NO way bothered or self-righteous enough to think that I am all of that. This town is full of awesome cakers that are far more advanced and skilled than I. I am not afraid nor ignorant to recognize that. This business is driven and grows by HIS Blessing, not my own abilities. I am not a fool to not recognize that. I sincerely apologize and am embarrassed that anyone would comment on their page or any other post or blast anything more than my honest heart on this matter. This is NOT a game to me. This is the way I make a living and help to provide a simple living for our family. I appreciate all of you guys support in my little company and am honored to have made a cake for many of you. Anyone that truly knows me, knows this is my heart and I am sincerely sorry that some may have taken it in error or highheadedness. That simply is not the case.
