~ PLEASE SHARE ~ Meet Emma an absolutely stunning blue girl with the most incredible eyes, she is approximately 26 to the shoulder and 2 years old. Emma is sadly being given up by her current owner as he has to move to a different property where he is only allowed to have one dog so we are seeking to find Emma a new forever home as quickly as possible so this gorgeous girl doesnt have to go into boarding kennels. Key points: With her present owner in Norfolk. Key Points: Calm, good natured, friendly, clean in the home, easy girl, good with other dogs, great in the car, generally very good on lead although can pull if she sees a cat or any big birds! Emma loves swimming, can be left for up to 4 hours with another dog for company with no problems. NOT cat or small furry friendly. ~ Personality ~ Emma is a stunning girl with a lovely personality. She is an easy and friendly girl who is always up for a splash around in a river, the sea or a big puddle will do! Not a very high energy girl but one who likes to have fun on walks and is always up for an adventure. ~ In the Home ~ Emma is a good girl in the home and easy to be around. She has always been clean in the home with her present owner but the door has been pretty much left open at all times. This means you will need to just keep a check and guide Emma to begin with and watch for signs that she needs to go out but she is a clever girl so this shouldnt be a problem. She sleeps through the night with no bother whatsoever and can be left for up to 4 hours with at least one other dog for company. ~ Other Animals ~ Emma is good with other dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes (she does like to say hello and have a sniff). She is NOT cat or small furry friendly. ~ Out and About ~ Emma is currently having two 20 minute walks a day but she could happily have more time out and about! She is good on the lead but will pull if she sees any cats or big birds so ongoing lead training will benefit this lovely girl. She is a real foodie so this shouldnt prove too much trouble! ~ Greyhounds as Pets ~ In general greyhounds are calm, mannerly dogs that are well used to being handled. They can fit very well in to a wide range of different lifestyles and usually adjust to the home life very quickly. Their soft, easy going nature often makes them ideal to live in a family environment, while their love of lazing around and low exercise requirements can make them perfect for the retired. Greyhounds also don’t shed as much as other more popular dog breeds and this can make them suitable to live with allergy sufferers. ~ Where Can I Live? ~ We feel that Emma would suit most homes and families due to how easy she is to have and to be around but will benefit from being around one or two calm well mannered dogs and she does love to have human company so it would be preferable to have someone around most of the time. Please also be aware that we do not home to families who have children under the age of 8 years old. ~ Where Am I? ~ Emma is currently in her present home in Norfolk. She can be homed anywhere in the UK provided we have a home-checker available, but please note that you will be required to travel to Norfolk to both meet and collect her. ~ Want To Adopt Me? ~ Emma is neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-flead and wormed.
