****PLEASE SHARE / WANTED MURDER SUSPECT**** Mudville Rd Vehicle Fire / Homicide On 12/18/14 at about 4:00 pm, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Shelby County Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Mudville Rd. near Armour Rd. While extinguishing the fire, the fire department found a man inside the vehicle, deceased. The victim, identified by the Shelby County Medical Examiner’s Office, was Cleate Davis (50 year old), who was shot in the head prior to the vehicle being set on fire. Detectives immediately began seeking leads on the scene and found a witness had seen a male suspect leaving the scene in a Chevy Trail Blazer. Detectives developed Morrieo Allen as a suspect. During the search for Allen detectives found a Chevy Trail Blazer connected to Aleasha Cox, Allen’s girlfriend. Cox was interviewed and admitted to her part in the events that led to the death of Cleate Davis. Aleasha Cox was charged with First Degree Murder and is currently in jail at Jail East. An arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of Morrieo Allen for First Degree Murder.
