*POKEMON FAN FICTION* #KurosJourney Chapter 2: Team Building-Pt.2 The four of them stood there exchanging glared expressions. Kuro and Curse sent their Pokemon out to fight. Buizel, Aqua Jet! Shouted the slimmer of the two thugs. Water rose from the ground and surrounded the Buizel as he rose up and shot forth, with arrow-like precision, toward Chimchar. Kuro shouted at Chimchar to dodge, but it was too late. Chimchar fell backwards, hurt. Treecko, Pound now!! Commanded Curse. Treecko dashed forward and lashed a punch out at Zubat who flew higher and avoided it, before retaliating with a Wing Attack, sending Treecko hard against the concrete. What are we gonna do? Remarked Curse. Kuro simply looked down at his Chimchar. I believe you can do it. He assured her. She stood up and ran toward Buizel with her claws ready. Chimchar jumped into the air and sped towards the smug bastard, but he was ready. Before she could react Buizel sent her flying into the air with a Water Gun straight to the face. Suddenly her eyes began to glow and the fire of her tail grew tremendously. She lifted her head and breathed in deeply. Blaze had activated. What? Well, I suppose this gives us an edge? Kuro remarked. But she doesnt even know any fire moves! Curse pointed out. Chimchar pointed her head toward the fatter thugs Zubat and let out a powerful barrage of large, blazing Embers. You were saying? Kuro smugly replied. Zubat was knocked out in an instant. She then dashed toward Buizel and clawed him straight in the face, leaving a deep wound which began to bleed quite profusely. She pinned Buizel down, before inhaling greatly and then releasing another barrage of Embers. This time at Buizel was the victim... The thugs quickly made their leave while Kuro and Curse swiftly made their way to the Pokemon Center. I dont know what came over Chimchar. Kuro said, rather worriedly. But whatever it was, I dont particularly like it... Still no name for her yet then? Asked Curse, as he took a sip from his can of soda. Kuro did not reply, instead he just stared blanky out of the window as he remembered the look on his Chimchars face as she lunged for the Buizel. The incident had been haunting him since it had occurred. He began wondering if the Buizel was alright but was abruptly interrupted by Curse asking him if he was ready to leave. Ugh. Yeah, sure. He replied. Curse just sighed and told Kuro to stop worrying. The pair started their way out toward Oreburgh City. Kuro turned toward his Chimchar. He looked deep into her eyes and smiled her as he said. Your new name is Flare. She smiled back as he did and took her new place on his shoulder.
