***PRESS CENTRE*** MONDAY LEAGUE FEATURED GAME REPORT HUNKY DORY FC V ROSSMORE The top 2 met in a crunch encounter in Monday nights featured game as Rossmore FC and Hunky Dory FC came head to head. Both sides were in confident humour ahead of the game as a win for either side would see them go top of the table outright. Hunky Dory were asking all the questions in the early stages of the game with Dan Murphy and Barry OKeefe linking up well, the resilient Rossmore defended in numbers and kept the game close. Once Mark of Rossmore began to turn on the style, the game changed, Mark was solid throughout the match hitting 4 goals. The first half ended with both sides firmly in contention. Dan Murphy really came into his stride in the second half, an excellent performance saw him named Man of the Match after he hit 8 goals, Dan will play for FREE next week, Mark Hogan and Barry OKeefe were also a constant threat for the eventual winners. Despite a rallying performance from Pat Barrett and his Rossmore side, they were unable to find their way back into the game and Hunky Dory held on for what could be a crucial victory.
