Spratt #507 (618) 344-2151 [email protected] Case Number: 2014-1184 On Thursday, March 13, 2014 at approximately 09:06 A.M. the Caseyville Police Department responded to the 600 block of Hill Road, Caseyville reference a physical domestic disturbance in progress. The suspect had battered a pregnant victim, obtained a butcher knife, and threatened to kill the victim and unborn child. Upon arrival of Caseyville officer’s, the scene was secured and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical attention. The results of the investigation were presented to the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office for review. On Friday, March 14, 2014 the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office issued warrant number 2014-CF-0036801 for Aggravated Battery, a class 3 felony, charging Steven A. Mcantire of the 600 block of Hill Road, Caseyville, Illinois, with the above crime. Bond was set at $40,000. Steven A. Mcantire is currently incarcerated at the St. Clair County Jail for want of bond.
