#PWDJOBS WANTED - SERVICE EXECUTIVE WITH A DISABILITY Job Title Service Executive Department Executive Location Centurion Type of Position Permanent Key Purpose To lead an operational team within the Gauteng Region in accordance with the Leadership Charter so as to ensure a high quality service experience for members, employers, brokers and health professionals. Key Outputs • To lead a high performing management team and to recruit, develop and align the team to the strategic direction of Discovery. • To provide leadership to the management team by coaching and developing the team and making them aware of the Leadership Charter, Core Purpose and Values of Discovery as well as the vision of the Service Team. • To provide input into the centralized strategy of the Service Exco and to question rules from a strategic point of view. • To provide direction to the management team and to offer comprehensive, clearly communicated information received at the weekly EXCO meetings and Functional Forums and ensuring that the management team feed this back to their teams. • To provide clearly communicated information received from the regions back to the Service EXCO and Functional Forums and ensure that these forums are aware of client feedback and any issues experienced in the regions. • To ensure effective service delivery to customers by setting ambitious goals and objectives and by identifying operational efficiencies, ensuring the right resources and processes are in place and that staff is properly on-boarded, coached and trained. • To ensure that a performance culture exists in the region and that incentives which are aligned to business imperatives are understood by the Managers who in turn ensure that they are understood by the staff in their teams. • To ensure effective financial management and budget control including monthly reporting on budgets and expenses for the cost centre. • To project manage pilots and projects and to ensure that implementation is effective from inception to conclusion. • To manage the flow and understanding of information at all levels, the Service Executive must be an effective communicator. • To act as the Final point of escalation in the region and to act as the face of Discovery in the region. • To liberate the best in the team and to ensure effective management for performance. • To ensure effective customer management and effective service to members, brokers, doctors, practice managers and the distribution channels. • To perform long rang planning for the region which may include set-up plans, ongoing planning, ramp-up plans and leasing of buildings if necessary.
