#Paandianadu Review... Simple story.. Common man against the baddies.. But Sheer brilliance of filmmaking is what this movie is.. I wonder how Suseenthiran can give a movie like Aadhalaal Kadhal Seiveer and a commercial fare like this one at the same time.. And that too he scores in both formats.. A story which we have seen so many times and still the director keeps us entertained.. Kudos to his filmmaking and this one is clearly the winner of this Diwali race.. The movie is better thann the other two releases on multiple levels.. This is the kinda movie everyone wants to watch on a festive day.. Vishal is back.. Enna subtle portrayal of his onscreen character.. I dono how a mass and such a well built Vishal did this role convincingly.. The charcter is well written and portrayed by Vishal.. And when he fights the baddies in the climax fight.. The whole audience in sathyam erupted by whistles and claps.. I had goosebumps fr that scene.. Though we all know that is what exactly is gonna happen.. Sussenthiran deserves praises fr etching Vishal and Bharathirajas character.. Bharathiraja is amazing as the mourning and helpless father.. Damn sure hed get the Best Support Actor Award for this performance.. BGMs are a big plus and they are in tune with the tone of the movie.. Another character who amazed me was Vikranth.. Antha fight scene.. Ppaah.. With limited screen space, he impresses us.. At many a moments, I thought hed be back to help Vishal fight the villains.. Cinematography is top notch.. Oru commercial format movie ivlo clean aah iruthu paathathe illa.. It was splendid!!! And another plus is we arent deviated from the main plot by comedy.. Ipdi thaan padam edukkanum.. Villain role is also pucca.. Stunts were also apt fr the heros role.. The only low points are some unnecessary song portions and Lakshmi Menon.. Innum work panni irunthaa.. This woulda been a landmark movie in Tamil Cinema in the commercial format but it still is because this movie instills confidence that more watchable and amazing movies can be made in this genre.. Gilli, Sandakozhi mathiri it was fast paced.. The whole movie is crisp and semma fast.. It can be watched multiple times and is delecious fare fr all.. The whole credit goes to Suseenthiran and he gets my thunderous applause fr making this movie.. Im sure though it was a dark horse this Diwali, it is going to gobble up the screens of Alagu Raja and Aarambam in coming days..*
