For the second layer of wet-on-wet you will require thicker paint mixes and as you progress through to the darkest accents you will require the thickest paint mixes using tube-consistency paint from your wells of paint. As opposed to worrying about colour mixing, you are encouraged to concentrate on working on your paint mixes, the required consistency and nature with which to achieve the variety of washes and brush-strokes, which are the essentials of working wet-on-wet.
