#Pakistan #KHI #PM Honorable Finance Minister Mr. Ishaq Dar has announced the budget for Financial Year 2013-2014 before the National Assembly on 12-06-2013. Following points related to Educational Institutions need consideration. 1. The 35% exemption provided to Universities has been withdrawn. 2. Further 75% reduction in Tax rebate available to full time Teachers and Researcher has also been withdrawn. 3. Further Withholding Tax deduction at the rate of 5% has been levied on Tuition Fees payable by the student above Two Hundred Thousand (Rs.200,000/-). 4. 5% Tax has been levied on commercial and industrial Electricity consumer consuming above 1000 units
