#ParentalAdvisory Paid in full A married couple divorces and their 12 year old son is left living with the mother. The Father is placed on child support as part of the divorce. The Father pays his child support on time and visits the child regularly. The amount of child support paid has been enough to effectively assist the Mother in providing lodging, food, transportation and clothing for the child. Heres the conflict: The child asks to go to an NBA basketball game with his friends that costs $50. The mom asks the dad for the money and dad says thats what I pay you child support for. The son wants an Xbox for Christmas and dad tells mom Ill give you a lil something on it but if its not covered by the child support you have to pay the difference because you dont have to do anything with your money. Thoughts? Is child support supposed to be all-inclusive?
