[Part 1] Promo for the New Animated Ghost in the Shell Debuts On the heels of the announcement that Scarlett Johansson will lead a live-action version of Ghost in the Shell, Moca News (Via ANN) has uncovered a promo for an upcoming animated film based on the Japanese series acting as an “evolution” of the story. Check it out below. Much of the crew for the previously-released Ghost in the Shell: Arise have transitioned into working on this latest film, including director Kazuchika Kise who will also design the characters. “Arise” screenwriter Tow Ubukata will pen the script with music by Corneliu. The cast from Ghost in the Shell: Arise will also take part in the latest film, including Maaya Sakamoto, Ikkyuu Juku, Kenichirou Matsuda, Tarusuke Shingaki, Shunsuke Sakuya, Takurou Nakakuni, Youji Ueda, Kazuya Nakai, and Miyuki Sawashiro.
