(Part 4:#1) Today we will review a few essential oils in detail and Ill explain how they can be used! (FYI, all of the Young Living oils Ill discuss today are included in the Everyday Oils collection which is a great starter collection of ten versatile essential oils. The Everyday Oils collection also comes as part of the Premium Starter Kit along with the diffuser I showed you yesterday plus more, and I can give you more info on that later!) LEMON ESSENTIAL OIL *Medical properties: antiseptic, immunity boosting (increases white blood cells), improves memory, relaxing, improves circulation, antiumoral: its rich in limonene which has been studied in over 50 clinical trials for its ability to combat the growth of tumors. *promotes clarity of thought, is invigorating, acts as an antidepressant, improves mental concentration and accuracy, and is an antioxidant. *Lemon Essential Oil can be inhaled directly or diffused, applied topically, or ingested. Some ideas for use: >Add a drop of lemon essential oil to drinking water for amazing lemon flavor and an immunity/antioxidant boost. Skip unhealthy flavored drink additives! >Because of its antiseptic properties I make a cleaner for my countertops with it. Add a few drops of lemon essential oil to a spray bottle with water. I love using this to clean the tray on my sons high chair as well. When he eats off of it its naturally disinfected and I dont need to worry about him ingesting chemicals! Also, real clean lemon scent, not fake toxins that smell like lemons! I also use it to make a natural disinfecting cleaner for my floors. >Diffuse it for a refreshing citrus smell, or keep a spray bottle with water and a few drops of lemon essential oil available as an air freshener that actually purifies the air while removing bad odors. Feebreeze and air sprays are toxic chemicals that just attempt to mask odors. Hardly fresh! >Use it in baking to make amazing lemon merengue pie or lemon bars!
