#ParveshSahibSingh at the inauguration of the first Sewer Treatment Project The first phase of the 59km interceptor sewer project to keep the Yamuna clean will ensure that only treated sewage is discharged into the major drains – Najafgarh, Shahdara and supplementary which release water into the river. Subsequently the river will be cleaned off as the toxicity levels in these three drains will be reduced. The project was inaugurated by Sh. M. Venkaiah Naidu. Also present at the event were Union Oil Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan and west Delhi MP, Parvesh Sahib Singh. This initiative was followed by the establishment of water ATM in Dwarka (Matiala Assembly) by Delhi Jal Board which will dispense 1 Litre of pure water for just 20 paise ensuring availability of pure water to everyone. This, first of the many such projects to come, is sure to bring immense respite in Dwarka in terms of water availability.
