#ParveshSahibSingh in a meeting with Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Development Authority discussed various issues including handing over Dwarka’s Water Supply and Sewerage services to Delhi Jal Board, completion of 1500 mm water line in Bhagya Vihar, utilization of water in Najafgarh drain for Dwarka and construction of Urban Extension Roads in Dwarka. The meeting concluded with deciding the plan of actions and deadlines to be maintained to solve these issues at Vikas Sadan, INA. Also present for the meeting were Mr. Balvinder Kumar (Vice Chancellor - DDA), Vijay Kumar - CEO, Delhi Jal Board along with other members of Delhi Jal Board and DDA. Conclusions of the meeting: Conclusions of the issue regarding handing over Water Supply and Sewerage services in Dwarka to Delhi Jal Board: • Delhi Development Authority and Delhi Jal Board to start a joint survey of Water Supply Services by 29/11/2014 and DDA will deposit Rs. 50 Crore towards Provisional Deficiency Charges to Delhi Jal Board. • Delhi Jal Board will start the maintenance of Water Supply Services in Dwarka subsidy within a fortnight. Conclusion of the issue regarding left out stretch of 1500 mm water line in Bhagya Vihar : • Delhi Development Authority and Delhi Jal Board will conduct a joint survey to explore the alternate route for the completion of the left out stretch of 1500 mm dia water line at Bhagya Vihar and submit the feasibility report by 07/12/2014. Conclusion of the issue regarding utilization of water in Najafgarh drain: • The clean rain water and overflow water of canal Dhansa can be stored up to Kakrola regulator in Najafgarh drain. It has been decided that Delhi Jal Board will conduct a survey/study to utilize this water for Dwarka subsidy and submit a feasibility report in a month. Conclusion of the issue regarding construction of Urban Extension Roads (UER) in Dwarka: • Delhi Development Authority will submit a copy of the alignment/layout plan of UER-2 as per MPD 2021 and revised (proposed) alignment plan with reason of change by 01/12/2014.
