"Pilate said to Him, "What is truth" John 18:38a ~ Indeed, what is truth? In Japan we found out this week that we have been lied to for the last two years about radiation flowing into the ocean. There are two things that we need desperately in Japan right now; Integrity and Transparency. Jesus is our greatest model of truth, even though everyone around Him was either lying or hiding something. Integrity means that the truth is not based on what is expedient and does not change - Jesus stuck to the truth even though it led to the cross. Transparency means that the facts are open for anyone to see and can be checked. - Jesus taught openly in the synagogue before He was ever accused so that everyone would know. Pray for integrity and transparency in this country and in our lives.
