****Please Share**** Small Impromptu protest in Nenagh today at the Office of our Environment Minister Alan Kelly who is attempting to enforce and inflict water charges and water privatization upon the people of Ireland. Another fantastic day of peaceful protest by the people of Tipperary. Ireland has an EU Exemption from domestic water charges under the EU Water Framework Directive. It is found in article 9.4 of the Directive. If he does not apply to the EU by January 1st, 2015, to have it renewed it will EXPIRE. If it were maintained it would be simple in the future for the Irish authorities to suspend and abolish water charges. Youd wonder if Minister Kelly will stand up for the peoples basic moral human right to drinking water and decent levels of sanitation or will he and The Labour party continue down the same road of betrayal. If the Irish people are deprived of this Exemption it would be another in a long line of travesties inflicted on the Irish People by the current Fine Geal/Labour government over the last number of years. Water is and must remain a human right. Join your people, join the Fight, Water is a human Right. ~mika
