Beware of phishing website that imitated as your internet banking page and asking your for username/password/mobile number. Dont download or install any unknown software on your device. Always install antivirus software from trusted corporate only. The approach is:- 1. Install trojan into victim device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone) 2. Trojan will record the username/password when victim login to his/her internet banking account 3. Victim will then be asked for mobile number verification and also the brand/type/model of the phone 4. A request to download SMS OTP interceptor/diverter trojan file will be sent to the victim, once installed, TAC from internet banking will be copied and send to the hackers or criminals 5. Hackers will then transfer the victim funds to 3rd party There are already 7 cases reported with total monetary loss of MYR59,400 and one of the case has remitted cold hard cash to Ukraine.
