"Poem of The Week" By: Edward Val To my reflection: A lonely world now awaits me filled with not a soul Fore hatred has taken, its most tragic toll And passion has grown cold within me A lover I’m not to be, I’m confused and lost Surrounded and everything looks far and vast like the sea. Is there no hope, not the tiniest of sparks For a man who has loved and only received a broken heart Is there nothing left? Nothing to help guide me along my way I fear not so I walk blindly further into darkness by the day Shall I ever see light again?, or shall I remain trapped within this maze Has light already became a myth? Am I destine to never be saved? Shall I remain a lost soul, continually searching but for what I have no clue. Or am I to become what I always feared?
