#PrayForMH370 ( 239 innocent lives ) As much as I do not believe in such things, I understand the help of a bomoh implored. It is not a secret that there are many ‘bomoh-believers’ in our country. By the looks of it, one can look at it as; they are trying every single means possible to locate MH370. Laughing stock or not, by faith or not, believed or not, the bomoh’s assistance was implored and done with; now let us leave it to God Almighty to handle the rest. I wish to reiterate here; that I am not a believer/follower of a bomoh neither do I agree in such an act. But I wish to implore everyone not to make fun of whatever means used for the SAR mission by the authorities and government to locate MH370. It is easy for many of us to ‘jump the gun’ and conclude various speculations based on hear-says, PCs and so on and so forth. One thing all of us need to realise is this SAR mission and investigation involves 239 lives, 239 innocent lives. Many people are claiming that the PCs are held so ‘stupidly’, probably because of communication ability, but in order for the authorities to give a definite answer, the answer has to be a concrete fact. Imagine they say A, then somewhere along the road, they discover something else, wouldn’t we all be frustrated and irritated with it? Imagine the families of the 239 passengers in MH370. They most certainly want a definite answer, not some chipsmore story. Whilst we thank the media for covering the story and bringing us updates; let’s be sure that the updates are genuine and true before we go forwarding/sharing away here and there which could possibly lead on to the eyes and hearing of the family members and friends of the MH370 passengers. I ask each and every one who wishes to post up anything hereafter about MH370, to first and foremost think for a moment and place yourself in the shoes of the passengers’ next-of-kin, would you, being the next of kin, want to read what you are about to post? This agonizing wait brings about a sense of helplessness leaving us nowhere, hence we pray, we pray for the strength and comfort of God to fall upon all the families and friends of the passengers of MH370. Let us stop speculating and making statements for the sake of making it. Pray too that God guides the SAR team with clear open eyes and mind. At this moment in time, Religion does not matter. Everyone knows how to pray, let us all pray as one nation, one human race for the safety and the best for MH370. Jeevithan P. Ganasan Chairman of the Malaysian Young Leaders Association-MYLA ( Northern Region branch )
