**Praying for something for long yet no answer what should you do?** The bible tells us there are things that hinders our prayers like cherishing sin in our heart ps 66 : 18, not treating your wife right 1peter 3:7, not having faith, unbeleif and doubt James 1:7, Disobedience to the word of God 1 John 3:22 etc... So before you pray and look forward to an answered prayer be sure to review your life acc2 the word of God and be sure nothing is blocking your prayers. Now, having checked your life to see you qualify for an answered prayer yet it seems you have prayed for something for too long yet no answer, persist in praying and dont give up and it will surely come. Scripture ref: 1kings 18:44. When Elijah told Ahab it was going to rain, there was no sign of rain yet he kept praying...still no signs, several times he sent his servant to check if there was any sign of rain, his servant came back several times with a negative report that there was no sign of rain..most people of today would have stopped praying and give up and lose faith or even console themselves with the notion that its not Gods time for me but No. Elijah persisted in prayer, held on to his faith and kept praying regardless of the negative reports and finally there was rain. Brethren, Gods promise does not expire. What he has said he will do he will definitely do. Just hold on to your faith. It doesnt matter that you see no physical evidence to your prayer at the moment,if only u will hold on to your faith and persist in prayer like Elijah victory will definitely be yours.
