[Preface: No, I am not pregnant...though I would love more blessings!] Julia (8 1/2) and Ellie (6 1/2) want to be midwives someday. They got to meet my fave midwife, Marcia Ensminger, and were just elated (though oh so serious when they actually met her...star struck, I guess). They exclaimed that they were so excited to be able to meet a REAL LIFE MIDWIFE. :) Well, we got home and Julia was telling a sibling about the encounter. She said, Well, Ms. Marcia wasnt in doctors clothes. She was in some purple shirt for some group. We watched Mommy get her blood out of her, because it was doing her blood pressure. Theres a little thing that is pokey. They put it into you and they put 3 or 4 things into it until it was full of blood. Mommy said it was important to watch that be done if we were going to be a midwife. I did NOT think it was disgusting! It was fun and so cool! Love it!
