***Public Notice*** Please understand. I am a professional standup comedian (among other things). Being funny for me is a gift that I was blessed with, a talent that I had to cultivate, and a craft that I constantly work at. Although I have the ability to make it look easy, nonchalant, or cavalier, it is NOT a hobby. You might be throwing an event on your side hustle where you need a comedian, but me having to show up and be that comedian is my main hustle. There is no place in the real world where you can retain the services of a PROFESSIONAL, for free. If I asked a plumber to come through and take a look at my sink, or my accountant to just do some of your lil taxes for me or whatever, or if I told the waiter at the restaurant I run a non-profit, whats yalls discount? what do you think would happen? Sounds funny doesnt it? Well, its not. Its actually pretty disrespectful. Oh, and Im pretty smart too. I understand what a non-profit is, and it doesnt mean that there is no money available, and it definitely does not mean that no money is being disbursed once its taken in. So just keep that in mind framily when you reach out to hire professional comedians like myself. We are independent small-business owners and you should treat us as such.
