!!! Public Notice !!! The City of Borger would like to advise area residents that they may receive a letter from American Water Resources. Though the letter may look official, it is a solicitation from a private company selling insurance. Several months ago this Company previously sent homeowners here in Borger a similar solicitation under the name American Water Resources of Texas. Information and subsequent mailings that have been or may be sent by American Water Resources or its subsidiaries to the citizens of Borger may appear to have some official validity due to the formatting of the information; however, this is a solicitation to purchase insurance on the property owner’s private water or sewer service line for a fee. The City of Borger has no affiliation with American Water Resources and does not encourage or discourage citizens from purchasing their products or services. As with any solicitation of this nature, citizens are urged to exercise prudent judgment when considering services offered by American Water Resources or any other private company.
